Description
Titanium Dioxide (TiO 2 ) a chemical compound that is widely used in
various industries. These industries include Paints and Coatings, Inks,
Masterbatch, PVC, Adhesives, and Construction chemicals. Based on
production processes and applications there are various grades of
Titanium Dioxide. There are two manufacturing processes of TiO 2 . i)
Sulphate Process ii) Chloride Process. For variation in application field
there different grades of TiO 2.
a) Titanium Dioxide for Paints and Coatings:
It is Rutile Titanium Dioxide made in sulphate process used to produce different kinds of
paints. It has optimum whiteness, gloss level, hiding power. It is so popular because of
the excellent whiteness and hiding power. It is the best sulphate processed TiO2
available.

b) Titanium Dioxide(TiO2) for Masterbatch
For using in the Masterbatch there are a range of titanium dioxide(TiO2) products that
are suitable for use in the production of polyolefin masterbatch. It boasts exceptional
whiteness, a narrow particle size distribution, excellent opacity, strong tint strength, high
temperature resistance, and low viscosity. These products are available in a variety of
grades, including both commodity and industrial grades, to meet the diverse needs of
customers. These grades could be produced using both sulphate process and chloride
process.

C) Rutile Titanium Dioxide for Inks:
It is a high-quality pigment made of white titanium dioxide (TiO2) through the sulphate
process. This particular product has been developed to provide excellent whiteness and
low oil absorption, as well as strong durability. It is specifically recommended for use by
ink manufacturers and is a special grade that does not contain any zirconium (Zr)
treatment. JTR 759 is approved by prominent multinational ink manufacturers
